Operation Slipper
Commemorating Australia's Operation in Afghanistan and the Middle East.
Our Aim
To honour the service and sacrifice of all Australians involved in Operation Slipper, Australia’s commitment to the international fight against terrorism and provide a meaningful way for the public to show their pride and support for those who served.
The Context
Following the September 2001 terrorist attacks, Australia joined international forces to combat terrorism in Afghanistan under Operation Slipper. Between 2001 and 2014, more than 34,500 ADF personnel served in Australia’s longest military engagement, alongside Australian Federal Police and other government representatives. When combat operations formally ended on 31 December 2014, nationwide Welcome Home parades were held to commemorate the operation’s conclusion.

How We Made it Happen
Working closely with Defence and under official ADF licensing, our team designed and produced the Proud to Serve – Proud to Support commemorative collection. This included exclusive merchandise, memorabilia, and the official Op Slipper Service Pin, donated by Australia’s defence industries in recognition of those who served. Every product was crafted to reflect the spirit of service and national pride, with proceeds supporting veteran charities.
The Outcome:
The Operation Slipper commemorative collection became a powerful national symbol of appreciation and unity. Through thoughtful design and collaboration, we created a lasting tribute that allowed Australians to share their pride in service, honour those who served, and contribute to veteran support initiatives.
